Chateau Doyon
In August 2017 we drove to Belgium to dismantle a beautiful black marble antique fireplace and then rebuild it in our warehouse! I have made a photo reportage of the disassembly of this chimney. To give a good idea of how this works, I have taken photos from the beginning to the end. I also took pictures of the exterior of the castle to show the historical value! A very nice project for us !!
RAI Amsterdam
In October 2017 we took place on the VT living fair. This was in collaboration with the magazine 'Stijlvol Wonen'. We have placed a beautiful antique fireplace with the wooden plank floor 'Manoir antique'. These beautiful elements in combination with the entire design that 'Stijlvol Wonen' has done makes that the stand looked perfect !!
Church dalles
In January 2017 we received the beautiful assignment to dismantle antique church dalles from the church of Klundert. After the organization was set up, the job could start. Man and power have spent a couple of men working two days to get 150 m2 of antique church dalles from this church. This beautiful party of antique church dalles is a unique part for anyone who wants to give an authentic look to the floor.
Jaarbeurs Utrecht
In March 2017 we stood at the 'Jaarbeurs' in Utrecht with our booth 'Eigen Huis'. From our wide assortment of antique fireplaces, we finally set up these 2 unique fireplaces at the fair. The antique fireplace with the round shapes dates from the era of Louis XV and the other antique fireplace is a real 'farmer's review', also called Campagnarde. The old wooden plank floor and aged Belgian hard stone floor fit in nicely with the fireplaces.
restoring bricks
In our workplace in Made, all hand-baked 'ijsselsteentjes' and old bricks will be restored and made ready for brickwork. The recovery of the bricks will be done by a biking machine. All stones are manually pulled through the machine one by one. After pecking, the stones are ready for the brickwork and are neatly packed in pallets. Here you will see a report on how this process works.
